Stays of 30 continuous nights or more are exempt from HST, and everything for day-to-day living — kitchen, laundry, workspace and parking — is already in place.

Who stays by the month
Monthly guests are usually between homes: relocating to Kitchener-Waterloo and house-hunting, waiting for a purchase to close, living elsewhere during a renovation, or in Waterloo for a fixed-term job, research position or healthcare placement. Families visiting students at the University of Waterloo or Wilfrid Laurier University for an extended period also use the home as a base.
Because it is an entire detached house with three bedrooms, it suits families and small groups who would not fit comfortably in a furnished apartment.
Move in with a suitcase
The bedrooms are made up with fresh linens, room-darkening shades and clothing storage. The kitchen is stocked with cooking basics, and the living room has a TV and books for quiet evenings. Heating and air conditioning keep the home comfortable through every Waterloo season.
Housekeeping is available at extra cost if you would like the home cleaned during a longer stay.
How pricing works for longer stays
Nightly rates follow our live calendar, and the booking page shows the full breakdown before you pay. The cleaning fee is charged once per stay, not per month. For continuous stays of 30 nights or more, HST is removed from the total automatically.
You can book up to 90 nights online. For longer stays, or if you would like to be invoiced instead of paying by card, send us a request and we will arrange it.

What is the longest stay I can book?
Stays of up to 90 nights can be booked online. For anything longer, contact us and we will arrange it directly.
Is the home fully furnished?
Yes. Bedrooms, living room, dining area and kitchen are fully furnished, with bed linens, towels, cooking basics and a washer and dryer in the unit.
Can I bring a pet for a longer stay?
Yes, pets are allowed. A pet fee of CAD 125 per pet applies once per stay, and the backyard is fully fenced.
Is cleaning included during the stay?
The cleaning fee covers the clean at the end of your stay. Housekeeping during a longer stay is available at extra cost.
